An old arabesque in a new form
As early as the 5th century BC, the foliage of the acanthus plant is found as an ornament. Through all epochs one encounters the ornament in architecture and art. The Acanthus series by Villeroy & Boch Gallo Design takes up this art historical motif and reinterprets it in a modern form.
