Lotus Gold Silhouette

A lotus leaf becomes a success

It was more or less by chance that Philip Rosenthal and the then unknown Björn Wiinblad met in 1957. This meeting developed into a lifelong friendship and a 50-year collaboration during which Wiinblad created a variety of dinnerware shapes and gift items for Rosenthal.

One of these shapes was "Lotus." A leaf motif in relief runs across the dinnerware pieces, emphasizing the grace of the fine porcelain. Lotus was so successful that it was produced in various decor variations.

In "Lotus Goldsilhouette" by Rosenthal, the leaf is framed by gold-colored lines, giving the service a special elegance.
