Modulation Symphony Blue
A success of Scandinavian design
The Modulation dinnerware shape is a design classic of the seventies. The Finn Tapio Wirkkala, one of the most important designers of our time, developed Modulation in 1967 for Rosenthal and created a shape that was so successful that it was reissued with different decorations.
Modulation Sinfonie Blau by Rosenthal features an abstract flower decoration in cobalt blue, which gives the tableware a fresh look and is stylistically somewhat reminiscent of the flower power movement of the time.
